Every newborn photoshoot is designed to be relaxed, safe, and completely baby-led. Whether this is your first baby or a new addition to your growing family, I strive to create images that will become treasured memories for years to come.

When Is the Best Time for a Newborn Photoshoot?

The ideal time for newborn photography is within the first 14 days after birth. During this stage, babies are often sleepier and naturally curl into those beautiful poses that parents love.

There’s no need to worry about choosing an exact date when booking. We will reserve your baby’s due date in my diary, and once your little one arrives, we’ll simply adjust the session date to suit your family.

What Can You Expect During Your Newborn Session?

Your newborn photography session takes place in a calm, warm, and welcoming studio environment where both baby and parents can relax.

Every session begins with a chat about your preferred colours, props, and styling choices. From there, we follow your baby’s lead. There is plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddles, and settling whenever needed.

Patience is at the heart of every newborn session. My priority is always your baby’s comfort and safety, ensuring a relaxed experience for the whole family.

Can Family and Sibling Photos Be Included?

Absolutely.

Family photographs are an important part of your newborn session and are included as standard. Parents, siblings, and even grandparents can be part of creating meaningful images that celebrate this special chapter in your family’s story.

These portraits often become some of the most treasured photographs from the entire session.

What Should I Bring?

If your baby is formula-fed, please bring enough milk for the duration of the session, along with a few spare nappies.

If your baby uses a dummy, bringing it along can be very helpful for settling between poses.

There’s no need to worry about outfits for your newborn. I have a beautiful collection of wraps, outfits, blankets, and carefully selected props available in the studio, allowing us to create a variety of timeless and coordinated looks.

What Happens After the Photoshoot?

Within seven days of your session, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery containing your unedited images.

Once you’ve selected your favourite photographs, each image will be professionally hand-edited to ensure the highest quality finish. Your final gallery will be delivered within approximately six weeks.

When is the best time for photoshoot?  

The best time for newborn session is before baby is 14 days old. Don’t worry about choosing your booking date, we all know baby will come in her/his own time. We will book due date and once baby will be born, we will adjust date and time.

 What to expect on photoshoot?

Each session is guided by patience, gentleness, and flexibility, allowing space for feeding, cuddles, and comfort. I create a calm and cosy environment where both baby and parents can feel relaxed. Firstly, i will meet your family and we will decide on which set up we will start on and then we will follow baby led.

Can we have a Family photo?

Of Course! It is part of the session.

Do I need to bring anything for baby?

You will need baby milk (if baby is formula fed) and some spare nappies. Don’t panic if you forget, i have some spare. If baby has a dummy that would be helpful too. I have many outfits for the baby which can be beautifully matched with my props.

What’s happen after photoshoot?

After photoshoot, you will receive link to your unedited gallery within 7 days. Then you will need to select your chosen photo and they will be edited within 6 weeks time.
